The Strata retail security single antenna detection system for security tags is manufactured by Checkpoint Systems loss prevention company. The checkpoint tag is most commonly an 8.2 MHz anti shoplifting tag. The Strata is a transceiver antenna. A transceiver is a useful machine in the EAS equipment realm. Transceivers are able to detect security tags with one antenna.
The single antenna Strata system can cover 3 feet in either direction. 2 Stratas can be combined to cover a 6 foot aisle. A single Strata can cover a 4 foot door if placed a foot in from the edge of the door.
