Overview
A climate-controlled home for outdoor EAS electronics.
Outdoor detection pedestals are only half the problem — the controller electronics behind them are what weather actually kills. This enclosure solves that with welded aluminium construction that seals weather-tight, and a thermostat that manages interior temperature to prevent condensation from forming on installed equipment while keeping interior air evenly distributed.
It houses the AMS9040, AMS9050 and AMS9060 controllers, operates from −30°C to 50°C at up to 100% condensing exterior humidity, and carries NEMA 3R / IP43 protection at 168 cm tall.
