The Gen 2 was designed around large source-tagging programs — specialty, mass, and department store apparel where the tag goes on at the factory, not in the store. ABS construction keeps unit cost down; the small footprint avoids fabric distortion; Standard or SuperLock matches the security profile to merchandise risk.
