A pinless clamp-style alarming tag. Instead of a pin through the merchandise, the Mussel Tag clamps down on any material between 0.5 and 5 mm thick — garment edge, bag strap, shoe tongue. A rubber pad on the contact surface means no marks after removal, making it viable for premium apparel where pin holes are unacceptable.

Pin tags leave a small hole in the garment; premium retailers reject that. The Mussel Tag substitutes a clamp with rubber-padded contact surfaces that grip the material without piercing it. Range 0.5-5 mm covers everything from thin silk to heavy leather. Compact 56.5 × 32.7 × 32 mm housing presents a visible deterrent without excessive bulk.
