Compact AM round.
Most of Century's compacts are 8.2 MHz RF or dual-tech. The R34 is the deliberate AM-only compact — 58 kHz, Ø34 × 21 mm. Retailers running pure-AM pedestal systems who want a small round form rather than a pencil get the R34 rather than mixing incompatible frequencies on the shop floor.
