The Gen 3 is tuned differently than Gen 2: it's round, bigger (46 mm diameter), and engineered for detection performance in wide-aisle and concealed-floor environments where signal has to travel further. The round shape also signals differently visually — less 'compliance tag' and more 'security marker.' Three tiers let retailers calibrate to category.
