The tag attaches around the base of a formula can (or any similarly shaped can, 128–132 mm diameter) and stays low-profile enough that cans still stack and labels still read. Shoppers pick the product up normally; the tag alarms an AM or RF detection system if it leaves through the exit without being removed.
The housing is robust black polymer, rated to 40 kg (88 lb) pullout, with 5 kG and 9 kG lock-strength versions. Application and removal are quick enough for high-turnover grocery workflows.
