The Synergy RFID Retrofit Panel is a field-install upgrade that adds beam-steerable RFID detection to existing Synergy 2.0 and 2.5 ABS pedestals. AM EAS continues to do the theft detection; the new RFID panel provides item-level inventory visibility, shrink analytics, and directional tag-movement sensing at the exit.

Overview
Beam-steerable RFID upgrade for Synergy ABS pedestals.
Sensormatic calls out beam-steerable RFID as the key differentiator — instead of a fixed-polarisation antenna, the panel uses software-controlled beam steering to read tags directionally (inbound vs outbound, zone A vs zone B). This enables genuine directional tag-movement sensing for loss prevention and also feeds Tyco's TrueVUE software stack for inventory accuracy and out-of-stock analytics. Can also be installed in standalone mode without AM detection.
