QS2000 Dual Antenna System
Checkpoint · RF 8.2 / 9.5 MHz · Pedestal pair
A longtime Checkpoint RF pedestal system that covered up to 3-foot openings with a pair of antennas — widely deployed in drug stores and pharmacies. No longer manufactured; for new installs at the same opening width, we recommend the G1000 RF transceiver.

G1000 RF Transceiver System (8.2 MHz)
For a 3-foot opening, the G1000 is the current, in-production Checkpoint-compatible RF transceiver — single pedestal, modern electronics, warranty-backed refurbished options available.

An RF classic for pharmacy and drug-store exits.
The QS2000 (also sold as the digital "Quicksilver 2000") was one of Checkpoint's most widely deployed pedestal pairs. Tuned to 8.2 MHz (the dominant RF EAS frequency worldwide) or 9.5 MHz, it picked up both Checkpoint hard tags and soft labels — CP410 and CP710 sticker families included — at roughly 3 feet between pedestals.
The system is expandable: adding a QS2000 single expansion antenna widens coverage to a 6-foot door. It is no longer in production, but still appears in Walgreens and similar chains and can often be serviced or refurbished.
Best for
Where it typically sits
- Drug stores and pharmacy chains with 3-ft (single) or 6-ft (expanded) exits
- Stores already running Checkpoint RF tags and labels (CP410, CP710, hard tags)
- Operators looking for refurbished RF pedestal pairs for service continuity
Compatibility
