Overview
Deactivation fused into the scan.
A pad deactivator trusts the cashier; an integrated deactivator doesn't have to. These antennas mount inside (or wrap around) compatible Datalogic Magellan scanner/scales, so AM labels deactivate automatically as products scan — high-throughput, orientation-independent, and only for merchandise that has actually been scanned and purchased. That behaviour is what defeats sweethearting, scan avoidance and merchandise switching.
Antenna kits exist for the Magellan 9300i/9400i, 9800i, 8500Xt, 8500 (EMEA), 8300/8400 (multiple platter lengths, with and without Sapphire glass), and the 2200VS/3200VS vertical scanners. All run from the AMB9010-IPS Universal Controller; built-in audible and visual indicators confirm each deactivation, and SMaaS integration adds device management and analytics.
Most kits retrofit on site; the 8500Xt version cannot be retrofitted and must be ordered EAS-ready from Datalogic.

Compatibility
Deactivates all Sensormatic AM EAS labels. Compatible with Wireless Device Manager, Wireless Module, SMaaS, and the Deactivation Remote Alarm Module. Requires the ZBAMB9010-IPS Universal Controller. When ordering scanners, Datalogic must be told the purchase includes a Sensormatic EAS deactivation antenna.
