The ZBAMB5470's L-shape single-coil antenna is geometrically matched to the Zebra MP7000 Multi-Plane Bi-Optic Scanner/Scale and installs inside the scanner housing — the till point needs no modification, which keeps installation cost down. Once fitted, AM labels deactivate automatically as items scan, in any orientation, at high-volume lane speed.
Because only scanned, purchased merchandise deactivates, the antenna helps prevent sweethearting, scan avoidance and merchandise switching. Built-in audible and visual indicators confirm each deactivation. A vertical-scanner alternative (ZBAMB5010) wraps compatible Zebra single-plane vertical housings. Retrofits on site; runs from the AMB9010-IPS Universal Controller; SMaaS-ready.
