The SuperTag 4 Power Detacher is the till-side half of the SuperTag 4 system: a powered countertop or flush-mount unit that releases ST4 tags at point of sale — and stays backwards-compatible with every earlier SuperTag generation.

Overview
The only way SuperTag 4 comes off.
SuperTag 4's improved defeat resistance works because its tags answer only to their own detacher line. This powered unit removes ST4 hard tags quickly at the point of sale, keeping checkout throughput up — and because it remains backwards-compatible with previous SuperTag generations, stores can migrate tags gradually on the same hardware.
Countertop (15 cm) and flush-mount (21.9 cm) formats fit different till layouts. Connected to SMaaS, the detacher reports detachment counts and timing — the signal retailers use to spot internal-theft patterns, after-hours use, and training gaps.
