Floor-Max Concealed AM EAS System

Floor-Max is a concealed Sensormatic AM (58 kHz) EAS detection system designed for wide exits and open-architecture storefronts where visible pedestals aren't desired (or aren't practical). Installed beneath or within the floor, Floor-Max delivers discrete merchandise protection across openings up to 8.0 m / 26 ft wide while maintaining a consistent detection height up to 1.4 m / 4.59 ft. An integrated audible alarm notifies staff when protected merchandise passes through the detection zone—without adding clutter at the entrance.

Concealed, dependable protection

Floor-Max places the detection antenna out of sight while still providing strong AM protection for wide exits. It's designed to work with most floor types and is outdoor-rated to support dependable performance across a broad range of environmental conditions.

Scales to wider openings

For even wider entrances, additional Sensormatic Ranger or Satellite antennas can be added to expand the detection field width. (Detection height remains the same.)

Built-in alarms and relay outputs

• Audible alarm (rated up to 105 dB(A))
• Alarm relay output (DPDT contacts) for external signaling/alarms
• Adjustable lamp/audio duration (typically 1–30 seconds)

Designed for elevated floors and rebar/metal conditions

For second-floor or elevated installations where rebar or metal can create interference, Floor-Max antennas are placed on insulation to help prevent performance issues and maintain reliable detection.

Nuisance-alarm reduction and jammer awareness

Configurable features help reduce false alarms and improve day-to-day usability:

• "Tags-too-Close": Helps staff avoid nuisance alarms when tagged merchandise is displayed too close to the front of the store.
• Jammer Detection: Alarms when a jamming signal is detected—alerting staff to attempts to interfere with the EAS system.

EAS + Traffic Intelligence (with compatible data device)

When connected to a compatible data management device, Floor-Max can provide in-store EAS and Traffic Intelligence information to support store operations and performance insights.
