Adds a second transmit/receive field to the standard Floor Guard 2A install: a Hybrid Loop antenna runs inside a non-magnetic door frame (aluminum, stainless steel, bronze, timber, plastic or fiberglass) and is processed by the same WFCB controller. The combined upper-and-lower field lifts the detection zone and allows the use of smaller tags than floor-only systems support.

Invisible floor + door-frame combination for premium retail.
Floor-only systems give you a clean entrance but a relatively thin detection band close to the ground. Hybrid solves that by adding a second loop antenna inside the door frame itself — same WFCB controller processes both fields. The result: tags get detected higher off the floor, smaller and weaker tags become viable, and the entrance still reads as architecture rather than security. The Hybrid Loop is a 7-conductor cable, 8 mm diameter, run inside or on top of a non-magnetic door frame (aluminum, stainless, bronze, timber, fiberglass). Any magnetic metal within ~6 inches of the loop will degrade performance; the frame must not form a parallel circuit (a 1 mm cut in any continuous metal bar prevents the Faraday-cage effect).

Compatibility
Frequency-compatible with all 58 kHz AM tags and labels — and because of the lifted detection field, performs better than floor-only on smaller adhesive labels and pencil tags. Door frame must be non-magnetic and must not form a continuous parallel loop (Faraday-cage effect). Magnetic metals within 6 inches of the Hybrid Loop will degrade detection.
