For high-end fashion, luggage and sport stores where a visible pedestal would compromise the architecture, this is the lowest-impact AM system WG offers.

Overview
Single-antenna in-floor AM system, fully concealed.
Floor Guard is built for stores where the entrance has to look like an entrance, not a security checkpoint. The antenna sits in a shallow recess, gets cast into thin set, and disappears under whatever floor finish the architect specified. The WFCB controller and Smart Power Supply live in a service hatch or ceiling soffit; the only visible element is an optional ceiling-flush alarm dome if the install needs an audible. Up to 4.75 ft detection height with WG Super Pencil tags.

Compatibility
Frequency-compatible with all 58 kHz AM tags and labels. WG recommends pairing with high-performance ferrite tags (Super Pencil, Pencil, Shell) for best detection height. Metal proximity matters — magnetic metals within 3-4 inches of the antenna will degrade the field, and entrance mats framed in metal must not form a closed Faraday loop (a 1 mm cut breaks the loop).
