The BIX1000 Wireless Module is the radio that gets a Sensormatic EAS device onto the store's Wireless Device Manager network — pedestals, deactivators and detachers report alarms, health and counts without a cable run.

Overview
The last-metre radio of the EAS network.
Sensormatic's device-management story runs through the Wireless Device Manager (BIM1000), which aggregates alarm events, device health, jammer detects and people counts from up to 64 devices. The BIX1000 is how individual devices join that star network wirelessly: one module per device, speaking the secure proprietary protocol back to the manager — no data cabling through the ceiling.
A BIX1000EA variant adds an extended antenna for harder RF environments. Compatible endpoints include the AMS9060 controller, Ultra•Post and Ultra/Essentials pedestals, the Universal and Essentials deactivation controllers, and SuperTag detachers.
The connected data ultimately feeds SMaaS, where synchronisation between deactivation and detection devices cuts failed deactivations at the till and false alarms at the exit.
